"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

It rumbles and shakes
It groans and quakes
Beneath our feet
The gentle beat
Of its pure heart
Tearing apart
The echoed cries
Of blackened lies
Against our ears
Through all our years
It humbly provides
While planets collide
Warms us with sun
Until time’s undone
The quiet pleas
The heavy wheeze
Of the dying Earth
Will still the birth
Of a new world
Lying unfurled
Beneath the grass
The tombs of the past
Will hold the key
To this mystery
