"Life isn’t about how to survive the storm, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” — Taylor Swift

you know what worries me
the fact that we
the human race
are so used to war

we accept war
we don’t wonder why a war started
we accept the fact that it did
and we accept the reality that it is happening

I am troubled
by this knowledge
why can’t people be upset by war
it is so sad what our world has come to

we have worked so hard to make our society
the way it is today
but everything we built
we are tearing down

why can’t we be used to peace

You can't make up anything anymore. The world itself is a satire. All you're doing is recording it. - Art Buchwald

i definitely agree with your view on wars. peace for the world. i love this poem, and i think it would be even stronger with stronger word choice! great job(:

Very good piece. It opened my mind up, and I think that this is something more people should read and become award of. nice work!
