When I wanna laugh or just hangout
When I wanna scream and let it all out
When I wanna cry and have somebody to hold
When I wanna be me the only one you know

I look to the left smile so bright
I look to the right, with tears in my eyes
There’s no friend there
There’s no friend there

If I had a friend what would you be?
If I had a friend would you love me?

Would you laugh at my jokes?
Even though they aren’t funny
If I get sick and ill
Would you rub my tummy?

I look to the left hoping your there
I look to the right there’s no friend there

Someone who understands me
Is that too much?
Someone to love me
Isn’t that enough?

I look to the left no friend there
I look to the right just empty air
I look straight ahead
And gaze upon the reflection I see
I take a deep breathe
The only friend I really need is me

The rythm and ryhme flows so smooth. The emotion comes out of the page and that type of writing is very unique. Anyone can relate to this, walking alone because it is true that we are not always going to have company, there are times when people have to be alone sometimes. And when people are alone these feelings in this poem comes out. I cherish the way you put it into words. You are an amazing writer.
