I have 20 minutes left.
I was afraid I forgot to write something on this day.
On this day particular day. January 19th.
A year ago today, except it was a Saturday rather than a Sunday, I made a choice that would affect my life forever.
It affected my first relationship.
It affected my friendships.
It affected how I see myself.
I will never, ever forget the lessons I learned around 3 pm on Saturday, January 19th, 2013.
A whole year. It’s hard to believe.

Though the reader doesn't know what happened a year ago, the way it was written makes the reader feel what you were feeling. Very strong.
