Maybe things aren't so bad
Look through a different light
It's brighter here than it was before
The sun is shining
The birds are chirping
I've come out of the darkness
Take a minute
Take a breath
And take a look around
Look at the big picture
All the tiny details
Look at all the beauty
All the wonder
All the unknown
Open your eyes
"Stop and smell the roses"
Don't let life pass you by
Notice everything around you
Wiser by the minute you realize
Open your mind to all the goodness
Close your mind to the rest
And put your life to the test
