Reflecting Sorrow
Love, that which cannot be attained
Could there be something wrong with my brain?
I wander only to fall
Thirsting for the greatest love of all
Dear, sweet contempt
The only thing I must not attempt
Suicide, the easy way out
Writhing while I scream and shout
A woman, a muse
Someone who will not abuse
My heart so beaten and ripped to shreds
In which sorrow is what she dreads
I cast my reflection and hope for love
Though I was not created from your God above
I may not be beautiful
But at least I have passion
