Favorite Quote:
I'm not who I seem to be. I have unlimited masks in my room and skeletons in my closet. Get to know me. And then maybe you'll see the truth.

She wears a mask.
And albeit it a pretty one, it is still a mask.
Her true lips are covered in a smile painted pink.
Her masked cheeks are covered in a light blush.
The kind that comes from laughing with friends.
And her eyes...
To everyone they shine with life.
But in truth it is unshed tears that give them their shine.
Long dark lashes frame them, silver eye-shadow behind the black fans.
So distracted by the innocent look of her mask they no longer notice how she shifts.
Her eyes always questioning...
Her trust isn't really there...
It fills her mind and glosses her eyes...
Uncertainty is what they brought to her...

Somebody hurt me by not being honest to me. They didn't think about me when they did what they did and when they finally realized what they had done, they told me. I still love and trust them... just not 100% anymore. I feel uncertain when around them now. And so I wrote this to tell them how I feel.
