"There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at the typewriter and bleed."

Thump Thump, faster, harder
Thump Thump, quicker, better
Thump Thump, going, running
Thump Thump...

Across the land into the sky
Must keep going, must learn to fly
Must keep running ‘till I reach the sky

Through the day into the night
Must keep going, must learn to fight
Must keep moving, must beat the night

Panting, sweating
Listening, fretting
Legs aching, lungs on fire
Reaching freedom is sole desire

Hooves pounding on the ground
Wind swirling all around
Like lightning bolting across the sky,
So the steed continues to fly
And as the sun flames on like a thousand fires,
Reaching freedom is his sole desire

Thump Thump, across the land
Thump Thump, liberty at hand
Thump Thump, on and on
Thump Thump, the steed is gone.

Hold fast and keep your head up high for life will pass right by you like a speeding bird if you don't acknowledge it- Charles Moorer III (me)

Can you taste the freedom? don't think I'm weird, but I use all five senses when reading poetry... I love the taste of sweet, sweet freedom. lol
