Favorite Quote:
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...

Wanting, dreaming, wishing
Concentrating.

The ebony unicorn appears,
But only in my memories.
His ivory horn flashing
Glinting
Dulling my fears
Swaying his marvelous head
Tossing his white-waterfall mane
Unfulfilled, I stretch
Deeper into my mind.

Eyes flash, haunting
Nostrils flare.
My mind’s eye quiets,
Stills, listens, waits.

But the magnificent beast knows.

Shining hooves shatter silence
Fleeting deeper
Into the forgotten forest
Of my mind

I feel his footfalls
Weaving, dancing through thoughts
Almost floating,
Deeper still
Lost
As quickly as found

A memory likes to stick around. You can't help but remember the things in your head...Even if you don't want to remember.
