The Sun Smells Like Laughter
The sun tastes like an orange
At least when I'm with you
Bright, sweet, and complex
The sun feels like silk upon my skin
A luxury, a beautiful thing
Leaving me neither too hot nor too cold
It warms me with it's motherly caress
The sun smells like laughter
When you are in my life
Light, happy, and abundant
It brings a giggle to my throat
A spark to my smile
The sun looks like a ballon
Tied securely around your wrist
I know that whenever you hear my call
You bring yourself
And closely behind lies
The Sun
