Reaching for summer
May 30, 2014
Summer break waves in front of me,
but i can't reach it.
I only have six more days,
and still it feels like years away.
The heat of the season is already here,
and we are all wondering the same thing.
Why are we still here,
in these halls and classrooms.
Why are we not outside in the sun.
Summer is coming fast,
but it still dances just out of reach.
