"A great day to walk off the earth" ~ myself

He had me,
And i’ll admit it,
He made my heart beat faster,
My stomach flutter,
And my mind race,
He knows things I don’t tell people,
He has seen my best,
And my worst,
But there are still things he doesn’t know,
One year seems long, but when you don’t trust,
It’s short,
When you’re worried one wrong move,
One prettier,
Skinner,
Sluttier girl will steal his heart,
You keep things locked away,
But you… Michael…
I feel so open with you,
Like I can tell you my deepest,
Darkest secrets and you’d only love me more,
I trust you… In a way I don’t think humans can understand,
Only love understands,
I’m not a trusting person,
That’s his fault.
Theres parts of me that have scars of his love,
And my anger and frustration,
I’m trying so hard to fill that void,
The deep gash put in my heart,
You’re starting to fill it,
I can feel it,
Less pain,
More smiling,
This is scary, and probably a little stupid,
But I trust you, and will say it anyway,
With as long as I have hid from you…
I’m falling in love.
You’re making me.. me again,
Filling the hole of everything that once was.
You make it so damn easy,
The way you smile,
The way you laugh,
The way you can message me back constantly,
Never bugged by me and never mad for the many messages you have to reply to,
Take my hand,
Pull me to you,
Press your lips to mine,
Hold on for dear life.
For a second we are one,
Breathing life into each other,
Making it possible to stay this way forever,
I won’t want it to end,
But there will be times where we must part for a while,
Until the next time your hand touches mine,
Go through long days of daydreaming of the other,
Until the next day we are together again,
It’s true,
He did have me,
But,
It’s so clear,
And so true,
I realize now,
I will always love you.
