Windows
I Stir
A single shaft of light beams through a crack in the drapes
All is dark but for that shaft of light
Slowly, I get up and walk to the Window
With a single sweep of my arm I throw back the curtain and daylight floods the room

 I Stare
Through the window I see a world coming awake
The Sun is rising ever higher in the vast blue wilderness of the sky
The Brook is dancing and singing in its bed
The Wind plays a gentle tune, a sweet breeze that sweeps the land

 I Stand
 Eager to be off
To join the Sun as it climbs
To dance with the Brook as it sings
To play with the Wind as it glides on its way

 I Stop
As I ease back into my seat, I look out the Window
All is perfect, all nature is happy
I need not run out and ruin this moment
So I throw open the Window
 And Feel, Breathe, Live
