I'm a mad man
On a psychopath
So rev up your pathfinder
and meet me on the back roads
for a drink and a thought
while we deal with the dry rot
from the hot summer nights
then compare star charts
and appreciate the celestial hearts
we are all just pieces and parts
thinking we are all kinds of smart
but only god knows
where we'll go
we are just actors at the show
now who pulls the curtain
