Scars.

Stars are tears in the canvas of the night sky.
Holes punched in so we can breath happily.
And they give us hope that maybe,
There is something brighter just around the bend.
That maybe all this time we spend staring at them isn’t futile,
because we see hope in the scars of the universe.
There’s beauty in them, so why can’t there be beauty in ours.
