riding in the rain
Riding in the rain
The dark thundering clouds roll in, as I’m pedaling towards the unknown
The excitement of a storm switches on the happiness within.
That moment when love comes out and you are free from the rest of the world.
The rain begins
I hear the piddle paddle of the rain on my helmet.
Feel it seeping through to my head.
A moment of uncertainty when I hold out my
Hand.
Catch the taste on my tongue
The smell is like nothing else, different every time.
Riding against the wind the hard refreshing splash of water against my face.
The puddles fly high across my body.
The soaking wet feel of my clothes.
As I go through the puddle that coats me just like a jacket covers the body in the harsh winter winds.
I’m not shivering any more.
My heart beats faster and faster and I can’t say no
To this thrill.
The moment I hit that peak I’m certain it has to drop down, some how.
Then the call comes and ends it
ALL.
