You are the change you wish to see in the world.

Old town, big streets,
Little time, little feet,
Bright lights, sleep tight,
A perfect lullaby,
But it comes, and it stays,
It seeps into the ground,
New feet, new streets,
Unto old worlds and old deeds,
The colors start to melt,
The sun is stained with transparency,
Not same not different,
Don’t know,
Old tunes sound fuzzy,
Something’s wrong,
The bright light shines,
When the moon is out,
There are some left,
Before it came,
They talk of those days,
Those golden days,
When sunlight lived,
And the moon stayed still,
When old tunes played,
And our streets were cleaner,
I believe them,
Old town dreamers

The author's comments:
Old Town Dreamers tells the story of the Greek Island, Rhodes, and the conflicting modern feel the island has now, versus the antiquity of an older Greece, with a rich history.
