Why?
why does it beat
The acid through my veins?
Filling me with pain
Just when it dies
And I breathe relief
It beats again.
And so I cut it from myself
again and again
throw it away
and leave its sweet sorrow to die.
Just to call it back
And bring the pain of joy again
Then add another scar
And leave the empty space
Because empty is all I can be
