I was always an unusual girl.
My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean...
And if I said I didn't plan for it to turn out this way I'd be lying...
Because I was born to be the other woman.
Who belonged to no one, who belonged to everyone.
Who had nothing, who wanted everything, with a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that terrified me to the point that I couldn't even talk about it, and pushed me to a nomadic point of madness that both dazzled and dizzied me.

With every thought
He sunk deeper and deeper
With every night
The urge became stronger
No one knew, at the time
How bad he has gotten
It's something
No one would ever suspect
From a once happy
And cheerful boy
But the cruel words
That others threw at him
He kept them a secret
And it became too much confusion,
Too much pain for him to handle
The emotional scares
Soon turned into physical ones
With every swipe of the blade
Blood trickled down his wrist
His emotions flowed with it

One day
His mother questioned
Those dark lines
That spread accross
His wrist
And what he tried to hide
Was what she dreaded
She never knew
Her dearly loved,
And once happy boy
Would ever feel
That much pain
His mother's heart tightened
And a single tear
Of pure shock and sadness
Slowly dripped down her cheek
Because depression is strong
And it touches everyone
That it surrounds
