Always trying to follow the trend
but then a different day came when she realized her own face
she wanted to leave without a trace
so she went on a new path to start a new life
One with no heartache and one with no strife
Along down the road she saw a new place
One she would like with wide open space
Starting from scratch she learned a lot
She learn to be happy and to live on her own
She even did stuff she knew her mother wouldn't condone
She fell in love many times
She's committed ways think we might be crimes
But in the end the only crime she ever did was not to be her own self until the end
