Her Ocean
The ocean roars
 and once again
 lashes out with another wave
 the beauty and mystery
 soon replaced
 with anger and disgrace
how did she let it get this far
how can she stop him now
 the ocean roars
 and once again
 lashes out with another wave
 she protects what she loves
letting them have the life boat
 while she's tredding water
just to keep that next wave
 from pulling her under
the ocean is so much bigger
 than she is
 the ocean can last forever
 and it's waves keep repeating
 she knows she's stuck there
but is thankful she can swim
 she almost reaches shore
when the under tow pulls her in
 then the ocean roars
 and once again
 lashes out with another wave
 there's no lifeguard now
no one to tell her she'll make it
but all the while looking for a lighthouse
that one last beacon of hope
and just before she sees it
 the ocean pulls her under
and she feels that she is drowning
 its too late now
 its too late now that
 the ocean has roared
 and once again
 lashes out with another wave
 against her stinging skin...
don't let your ocean take control of your life.
