Poems
Who cares for you and nurtures you,
You dying emaciated things-
You’re filled with beauty,
but it’s taken for sin.
People read you to their lovers,
and all the ones they love,
But all they do is take from you,
and always you forgive.
You’re written poorly,
especially by me-
and for that I do apologize.
After all,
You’re just a poem,
and one I clearly have forgotten to revise.
