My Art
I can feel it,
the rush of light energy.
It runs through my entire body.
My feet leave the ground,
and my arms fly up to reach the sky.
The ball of my foot lands softly,
in the damp morning grass.
I stop,
Waiting for my breathing to slow and inhaling the aroma of sweet mountain air.
Watching the rising sun paint it's colorful art across the land and sky.
I begin again,
Painting my own picture,
with the foot prints in the grass and the sun brushing through my short hair,
My dress waving in the wind.
My own art is dancing.
