A Starlit Summer Night
A vast black painted sky
 Soft gentle summer breeze
 Bright white moon
 Glittering silver stars
Look down on sparkling city lights
 Warm comforting houses
Green long fields of grass and ugly weeds.

    I can see them both.
I can see the beautiful starlit night,
 With the smiling moon.
I can see the safe wonderful houses,
I can see the fields of grass spread out along the earth.

I can see the mystery of the night,
I am blessed with the sight of both earth and sky.
But the sky and earth can only see one, cursed with never knowing the beauty of both.
