Fight

When it seems I have lost my fight,
I look to see you on my right.
Even when the chips are down,
You stand beside me not making a sound.
So even when I’m broken inside,
With you by my side,
I know I’m always safe and sound,
So that is why I stay around.
Either way I know it’s true,
I could never betray you.
And if the day ever comes that I do,
I pray that you can still say I love you too.
