lungs in a wastebasket tongue is but a hydra fingers grasp endlessly nose always scrunched heads bisected feet of a pariah always tiptoeing with a stuck in mud motion always going always going stomach in a line mouth zippered up blood in a wine glass bile in the mug eyes sewn shut lips in a fishbowl brain is just fish food heart on the dole

I have started my own personal project in which I find songs that I enjoy and write to them without thinking too hard. This is the first of a handful that I have done. Done to Dream by Clipping. I have not reformatted my poem nor have I fixed the grammar for I feel like that would defeat the purpose of this project.
