I’ll think of you tonight, as i sit here in Twilight.

Of the days we left behind

and the ones we’ve got ahead

in time.

And I’ll miss you in the long run,

when all I have by my side

is nothing but this bag i hold and

the memories that bind me & you.

For though i may wander

in search of a breath as gentle as your,

                                       words as stirring

hands as uplifting,

dreams as becoming,

lips as…

I know such things as “one true love”

are not words longingly spoken

but

truths defined by reality.

A reality of one-&-only-forever

-and ever again.

A fact as plain and simple as

the prince and princess,

Sir Lancelot and Guenevere,

Romeo and Juliet,

Happily and Ever after.

Such as we were destined from the start.

Let once upon a time pronounce itself.

I wouldn’t mind a little forever to go with that.
