Dim and dark
on sunken wings
the melting glow
of tears on skin
and dint of pressure
grasping spare
and turning raw
those gaping eyes
stinging the sight
of what is right in front of us.

The author's comments:
Though this is a poem about crying, I don't see it as a specifically negative way. I wrote this after a difficult time in my life, where the crying was not only about grief, but a sense of renewal and clearing my vision. Thank you for reading.

“Yes I love him. I love him more than anything else in this world and there is nothing that I would like better than to hold on to him forever. But I know it's not for the best. So no matter how much my heart is going to break, I've got to let him go so he can know just how much I love him. Maybe if I'm lucky, he'll come back, but if not, I can make it through this.”

I like it a lot tho that sounds sad in comparison to all your other comments your good. I like to write but i cant do it the way you do, mines triggered by something i see or hear. Yours comes from the heart and i love it =) nice work

Great title that caught my to made me read this...

I like your interpretation of crying because to me its a since of renewal like it makes you feel at peace. I love the deepness of it all.

Though the poetry doesn't say a spacific color it implies the deepness of 'the color of crying'. it was the best poetry i have read in a long time!!!

This is amazing and i love how you relate the title... it's called "the color of crying" but you dont mention any typical colors, you use more of the idea of a color. love it
