“The music is not in the notes,
but in the silence between.”
― Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

As if a scrupulous design

In truth, arbitrarily defined

An entire sky to call my own

Euphoria in an ambulent home

Perfection in fault of an explanation

Mythicized simply for a pleasant sensation

Having it all at the tip of my fingers

In a careless trance yet still my heart lingers

For if I can never be closer still

The emptiness in my heart may never be fulfilled

The transient dreams of a boy inside

An overwhelming wish where my heart resides

An obsession so bleak that I still harness

Byt my heart will forever be cloaked in darkness

Judged for an appetite that is seldom mild

But for what is a man

without the dreams of a child?

And in the sky I witness a bastion used to cope

And in the sky a witness a beauty called hope

My ambitious dream to become an astornaut has led me to spill out in words what lingers in my heart. I share this poem with endearment and hope that some of you hold dreams as scary as mine. If you do not fear your dreams, they are not big enough.
