Hear your voices
Our audience needs to face what happened,
even if you can't.
If anyone deserves a second look,
write the man the way he is:
a lesson in humanity.
When the drama's not about us,
I might let you live.
Can't remember the words to my own song;
salvation under my breath
tonight.
Dreams die,
afraid to live,
but you got a second chance I wish I did.
You owe it to them to be the best,
nothing selfish about it.
Hear your voices sing back louder,
and my home is your home.
There'll be other books,
other movies,
to help me tell his story.
I give you my word.
promise let's never be too afraid
to regret our regrets.
