“I once had a garden filled with flowers that grew only on dark thoughts but they need constant attention & one day I decided I had better things to do." -Brian Andreas

I sat alone for

A while,
beneath the dreamiest sunset,
Wishing I was next to the dreamiest
Pair of eyes.
Wishing that my mind was being
caressed by yours,
and your hand in mine;
but not as a fist,
Just intertwined.
Wishing your voice
was the only thing
I could hear.
But I stopped wishing.
And I started being grateful
for the beauty that
was portrayed infront of me.
Once I stopped searching,
I watched the view.
And then I saw the bees,
They reminded me of you.
I heard them buzzing
as they were sucking the
pollen from the flower’s bud.
The flower didn’t mind the bee.
The bee sucked up all the love.
Without the bee, no more love could be made.
And no other growth could be attained.
So the flower allows the bee
to create more beauty
Day by day.
And I was still lonely.
But each time the bee comes,
more beauty has grown.
And more honey has been saved.
And all of a sudden,
I was okay with the
Just the buzzing.
