Dead Stars
  Right, left, right, left.
  Follow behind, step by step.
  Individuals are blurred,
  Fear is blamed,
And we are blocked by the world's
  Attempt to tame.
  A myriad of standards, a multitude of rules;
  Don't color outside the lines.
Don't be bigger than magazine girls.
Don't act foolish and don't be a tool.
Don't we wish to free these rules?
  Follow your dreams they say,
  But reality will quickly corrupt.
We should be chasing our dreams,
  and letting reality catch up.
  And if we don't try,
  Dreams will fade,
  Youth will die,
And never will the world know
The way dead stars used to shine.
