What's ours, now theirs
Stolen, I declare-
Bring it back,no
Fair is not a concept in their world
There is one thing they cannot steal,
Our thoughts, poetic words
This is our history, I tell
Never to unfold

This is a lovely poem!! Great work! :) I love how it's short and sweet, yet it has a much deeper meaning. You've given the reader a spark; a thought that can be taken in so many different directions. You've given them just enough to start turning the gears in their brain, and then passed the control off to them. It takes talent to do that! Once again, outstanding job!! :)
I was inspired to write this piece because in our world today there are so many things that can be taken from us. Truly, our thoughts are the only things we can keep and know that no one, no matter what the cirumstance can steal. I hope all the readers enjoy this short scribble and that this poem will inspire them to value our thoughts as an individual.
