Whatever. I say whatever when I’m mad -
No, not in the sense of “whatever you want dear,”
My meaning should be seen as acutely clear
Besides, I say it when I think you don’t really care…
Go. Go on and leave me to my thinking,
But it does nothing if my soul isn’t with me…
Damaged and lonely I sit here a scribe -
For the capricious feelings I hold deeply inside.
