The Gratitude
I am glad I was born,
With the virtue I own
I am glad I was born,
With these precious gems I called friends adorned,
?
I am glad I was born,
Free and forlorn,
I am glad I was born,
To this world that adjourned,
?
I am glad I was born,
Being able to feel,
I am glad I was born,
To be true and real,
?
So God,
Here I am,
Shouting loud - Carpe Diem!
Here I am to say,
Thanks.
?
Thank You for the hands you gave me,
I may not be able to touch those algid hearts,
But now I know,
With It I can touch lives,
?
Thank You for the wonders
I had in my life,
For the enjoyable companies,
That never bother to shy away from my tiffany chimera,
?
Thank You for the muses,
Scripted in my thoughts,
For that bleak canvases that sheltered me from the fallen shards,
Of shattered hopes,
Thank You for the journey,
I walked,
For the mountains I have climbed,
For the tear I shed,
For these fabulous garment we called smiles I'd wore all along.
