ashes to ashes
It was the grey type of day that made you stop and wonder what could possibly piss the universe off so much that it’d result in the ashen sky.
There was wind that blew solely in one direction, making you either look like a supermodel, or a birds nest.
Rain drops of sweet poison dripped and dropped; I knew all the adolescents and juveniles would one day have to compensate for the misery they instill upon mother nature.
What better way to go than slowly disintegrating into a pile of bad words and anxiety. Which is why I’m writing this to you, my friend.
I want to tell you that when the acid storm comes, embrace it.
Bring me your curses and hurt.
I will love them until you feel the nontoxic rain.
It will feel like our first kiss.
