Minutes passed by in the tic-toc-tic of seconds that dragged on for hours,
Time meant nothing here,
It was just another measurement tool that we often neglect,
We expect it to run properly but it never does,
Because it is time,
And time is limitless,
It has no reason to wait for us,
We wait for it,
We wait for however long it wants us to,
We wait and wait and wait and wait,
But we can’t make time go faster,
What a time that would be if we could.
