After Dark
Secrets come out at night.
People are so vulnerable after dark, so isolated and alone, scared of the thoughts swirling around their head. They are struck, as if by a swift bolt of lightning, with desires, urges, destructive impulses to do things that would never enter their minds after the sun rises in the sky. They spill their insides; their dreams, their fears, their darkest secrets to anyone who will listen. Two am is a dangerous place, full of everything people are not brave enough to say in the light, where relationships can be created or destroyed with only a few words.
