Is there a place you can go

where the struggles

that want to strangle you

and burn you

can’t reach you?

 

Is there a place you can go

where the future

the one that wants to mock

every step forward

can’t find you?

 

Is there a place you can go

where the depression

that pulls you down

and engulfs your mind

can’t see you?

 

Is there a place you can go

where you can be free

of shackles and cages

that lock you into a lifestyle

that you hate?

 

I believe there is.
