Water under the bridge
Except the current is thicker.
Red like blood-
I better swim quicker.
The feeling of drowning
Like a stick in mud-
Rush to warn the people I love
To be expecting a flood

These are my favorite kinds of poems. The ending keeps me in suspense, it doesn't explain itself. There are different feelings expressed in few words, making a bigger impact on the reader's experience. Pretty cool.
