Here I stand
Held back by glass doors
Unheard by the glorious laughter of a tearful childhood
No longer can I feel the warm streams of the sunny days
For here I stand
Hidden from my shadow
Conspicuous by my absence
Concealed by my current makeup - who I have become
I am a prisoner of time
Entrapped by the past
Unseen by the present
And locked away from the future
