What did I do to deserve this?
The hand slaps my face. It doesn’t miss.
Did I say something wrong or impolite?
I’m sorry if I did, but I don’t wish to fight.
Just leave me alone. I don’t bother you.
But you point out my flaws as if I hadn’t knew.
“I’m worthless.”, everyday you reassure,
Is it because you’re insecure?
I seek help, but there’s no solution.
Why can’t I stop your terrible pollution?
You may say I shouldn’t be here,
But I still stand and create my own cheer.
