Alone
I don't wanna go, it just got interesting.
But I want to leave this place more than anything.
Away from disapproving eyes.
Away from people telling me lies.
Away from the tipping scale.
Because I know in the end I'll fail.
They tell me I can't write poetry.
But it doesn't matter because in the end it's just me.
Right?
I mean it's true, no one else puts up a fight.
But is it true?
Is it me by myself or are you alone too?
Maybe we are both alone.
And we just need a place to call home.
A place where I could be me and you could be you.
And we wouldn't have to worry about what we "need" to do.
We need a place with no accusations.
A place for pure concentration.
It doesn't matter where this place is located.
We just need a place where we won't be hated.
We aren't free to be who we want to be.
We aren't allowed to be you and me.
We have to be what society made us.
And we aren't allowed to disagree or fuss.
If you change your look and do what you want to do.
You won't be accepted as you.
