I am a cigarette
Burning and disintegrating
Slowly but surely,
As I am held tightly in his grip.
Every breath he takes
Ignites flames upon my heart.
Ashes fall to the ground,
Along with the fragile walls
I have tried so hard to hide behind.
I am a cigarette
And he is just inhaling the smoke.
