LOST WAR

I went to battle,
went with my heart in hand
came back with a bullet instead,
thought i won the fight
wanted to see the light
saw the night instead,
i went to battle
thought i won the fight
but i lost the war instead

Interesting scheme. I'm a fan - I love short poems that leave a lasting effect. The repetition helps the scheme form.
i was doing my homework and all of a sudden i just like started rhyming words and liked how they sounded so i just started writing it down so i wouldnt forget and thats how i created this poem.
