Ever since I was a little girl
Ever since I was little I never knew what it was like to have a real father
You see my father died when i was only
A Little girl
Rewind to the past, ten years old with no father
“My daddy bought me a doll”
“My daddy took me to the park”
“My daddy”
My daddy.
Ever Since I was a little girl.
Fast forward some time, thirteen years old with no father
“My dad is taking me to that concert”
“My dad will pick me up from school”
“My dad”
My dad.
Ever Since I was a little girl
Wondering why this happened to me
Why did he have to go?
Why did my dad leave me?
Why isn't daddy here?
Ever Since I was a little girl
I never got myself around the idea that life is not forever
Always thought why, never thought
okay
Okay he had to go
Okay my dad had to leave
Okay daddy isnt here
Time to face reality, the time has come
Time to live live with no father
Its okay
I’m going to be okay
I know I’ll be okay
I've been okay
Ever since I was a little girl
