died on the line
must've
maybe i should dial
you back
and see if it was a misconception
maybe
but my heart hurts too much
to do that right now
so many nights
i slumber
and you're dancing through
my dreams
a 6'5 silhouette
with wild curly hair
last night it was of you
and your disarming smile
you leaned in
and said breathily
i missed your lips
i missed your smile
while i sit here
and weep and wallow
in whatever self pity
i suppose i'm apt
to alleviate at this point
but the relief never comes
