The Unknown
I turned my head
Tears rolled down my cheeks
Deep inside I knew that it was the end
A brand new beginning
A start of a new chapter
Where I buried the past
And let the future consume me
I had to write my own story
I smiled under the dark shadows
Where the future was my enemy
An unknown enemy we all want to know
He is the silent death of dreams
Tomorrow could be my last minute
And the seconds could turn into dust
It was Him
The present told me
But don’t worry about the unknown
Worry about today
