I can’t pretend I don’t care,
I can’t pretend that what you doing doesn’t bother me,
I can’t pretend that your going to stop yourself.
I can’t pretend that your going to not end up like your mom,
Locked away in a metal institute, because she killed her brain because of all that alcohol.
I can’t pretend anymore,
Just for the sake of me,
And maybe yourself,
Please make me stop pretending.

You should give these poems you write to their topics.  I might separate some places like each "I can't pretend" be a new stanza.  Instead of being so specific you could say something else like "I can't pretend you won't lose your mind, locked away in the solace of desire".  I dunno, maybe change it up a bit.  Depends on what kind of statement you're trying to make, keep writing!
