you breathe waterfalls

that scorched windows bricks walls

and I lay awake

afraid to drown

slender beast, I'm appalled

you secretly love stupidity

after it sliced my hopes

to gory quiet

Death rejected my oblivion

and if you never raved of my beauty

shed all but a blessing

because I rejected you

I wrote this using words found in the book "The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear" by Walter Moers (a great read).
